Dare to be Different Day!

All children in Horley Infant School are invited to come into school in non-uniform. We are encouraging children to “dare to be different” so we can celebrate our uniqueness as part of Anti-Bullying week. Children can wear something or come dressed as something that they just love. It might be that they’ve always wanted to be a footballer, or want to be a princess, or they have always wanted to wear their hair in plaits, or they just love wearing a blazer like their big brother – or maybe they just love dressing up or wearing that funky orange jumper they have! We will be looking at the story “The Hueys in the New Jumper” by Oliver Jeffers and “Only One You” by Linda Kranz to help us embrace our uniqueness.
